i bought a pair of these shoes in 2000 at the bc down by park meadows. they were on sale.

‘es has an interweb scrapbook showcasing their fifteen years of shoe making. every two weeks they put up another year. so far, they’re up to 1999. back then, it was cool to have puffy shoes with airbags and reflective trim. and, the pull straps were great for catching the cuffs on your baggy jeans and keeping them from slipping underneath your heel.

and, if you buy the newest issue of ‘the skateboard mag’, at a skateshop, it comes with a copy of the lrg video, ‘give me my money, chico’. if you buy it at a grocery store like me, you get nothing.

can you believe i’ve had no formal art training? i know right!!

the graphic was based on the summer of 96. i was eating way too many big macs at the time, and those things had there way with my stomache. that’s when i learned the true meaning of a ‘big mac attack’.
