it seems like all i’ve been doing on the site lately is posting links to “epicly later’d”. and while it is a fantastic program, i realize that i probably should have included some of my own personal adventures. so, here is a list of things that happened this month that i probably should have written a post about. feel free to go through the list, imagine in your brain all of the witty writing i would have included in the post, have a chuckle, and we’ll just consider everything all caught up.
1) i introduced katy hogarty to my birth-mom.
2) i completely fell in love with adriane.
3) i went on a spur-of-the-moment skateboard trip.
4) i scraped my arm and pooped in a walmart on said trip.
5) i took a home buyers education class.
6) i added 3 more pairs of shoes to my collection.
7) i came up with some pictures of ‘who i believe to be’ my birth father and his family. (actually, that might have been in july)

the in-laws took off to denver this afternoon to visit “the dave”, so jamie and i can finally get a little wild with the house all to ourselves. tonight, i think we’re going to eat spaghetti and watch the finale of ’so you think you can dance’. fuckin’ jam out with your clam out, YO!!

if you really like watching footage of giant clouds of smoke, you are so in luck. here is a clip of the ‘little goose creek wildfire’ from friday. it’s a lot worse now. if you want to know more about the fire, you should probably check out sheridanmedia. all i know is that constantly breathing in smokey air makes your head hurt.

i like to check youtube every once in a while to see if there’s any new sheridan footage, see how the youth are doing. today, i found this clip of david fully going for it, kickflip down 8. i’m so glad that i grew up skating with the el hubro crew, i hardly had to jump down anything. jumping down stuff is the suck. i also like how in this clip, my homie, chino, is in the background just standing there, filming from a mile away.

this week, it’s an awesome two part show on jason dill. dill is one interesting dude, and it’s fun to hear about coming up and what the skateboard industry was like back in the early 90s.
