i have been fascinated by the art form that is board focusing ever since i saw rick howard push that kid out of the way and take off both ends at the beginning of ”questionable”. i can think of several good board beatings caught on video over the years; carroll finishing off a sketchy line, getz’s berzerker rage, ave hacking a sign pole, dill flipping a table over on top of his board, spanky throwing a big-ass rock, herman’s over the back pile-driver……anyway, my newest favorite is caswell berry’s flying butt drop to board snap. it is truly a thing of beauty.
